Fran and Mary called in and other than someone sitting near them at the arena saying that Todd had jammed his foot in practice today, they know less than those of us who were watching it on www.iskater.com.
Paul Martini reported that Todd has had a cyst or wart removed from his foot earlier today and that he had tried to skate, but was unable to. Mary said that Todd was not landing the harder jumps in the warmup and that he left the warmup early. As for the competition results: 1. Chengjiang Li CHN 2. Takeshi Honda JPN 3. Michael Weiss USA 4. Update on Todd | ||
|
Fran talked to Richard. He didn't say how Todd injured his ankle, but he has had the injury all week. He had it drained today and tried to skate, but it was still too numb.
Todd is pulling out of the Grand Prix Final due to the injury, but expects to be fine for Worlds. Christie |
